SAN Juan City Police arrested a drug supplier and his three couriers including a live-in partners in a series of buy-bust operations in a condominium in Quezon City near the boundary of San Juan City on January 20, 2019. In a report submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) District Director PCSUPT BERNABE M BALBA by San Juan City Police Chief, PSSUPT DINDO R REYES said the alleged supplier was collared two hours after his three drug couriers were busted.
PSSUPT Reyes said, suspect was collared by teams of San Juan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) headed by PSINSP EDWIN A MALABANAN inside the Cluster 6, Unit 3k, Greenhills Garden Square, Bgy. Bagong Lipunan, Quezon City near the boundary of San Juan City after he was caught red handed for selling 50 grams of illegal drugs to a policeman posed as buyer at around 11:35 pm. According to PSSUPT Dindo Reyes, the suspect was pinpointed by his drug couriers who were earlier arrested.
Seized from the four suspects were a total of 70 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P476,000.00. It was learned that one of the suspect has pending case at the Mandaluyong Regional Trial Court. The four suspects will be facing charges for violating Sec 5, 11 and 26 of Republic Act 9165 commonly known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and now detained at the San Juan Police Custodial facility.
