San Juan City Police nabbed a former surrenderee and three others  who were caught in the act of sniffing ‘shabu’ in a parking lot following an anti-drug operation in the City on March 8, 2019.

In a report submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) Director PCSUPT CHRISTOPHER TAMBUNGAN by San Juan City Police Chief, PSSUPT ARIEL R FULO, the suspect was identified as Ludivino Intes, alias “Tata”, 45 years old and a resident of F. Manalo St., Bgy. Kabayanan, San Juan City. PSSUPT Fulo said that prior to the operation, the operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) headed by PSINSP EDWIN A MALABANAN transacted with “Intes” based on the information that he is involved in illegal drug peddling activities in the City.

The policeman poseur-buyer was able to buy a sachet of white crystalline substance believed to be ‘shabu’ from the suspect along F. Manalo St., Bgy. Kabayanan at around 12:55 AM  which resulted to the suspect’s arrest. While arresting the suspect, Malabanan noticed a jeepney parked in a dimly lit portion near the area. Suspicious about the vehicle, the cops approached the jeep and saw three persons in the act of sniffing ‘shabu’.

The three drug users were identified as Erick David, 25 years old; Mar Miguel, 44; and Jesreel Ocampo, 43, all residents of Pampanga City. SDEU Chief said the three suspects had just bought ‘shabu’ from “Intes” then held a ‘shabu’ session inside the jeepney.

Police recovered three heat-sealed transparent sachets containing undetermined quantity of white crystalline substance suspected as ‘shabu’ and other ‘shabu’ paraphernalias. Charges for violation RA 9165, Sec 5 (selling), 11(possession),13 (paraphernalia) and 14 (pot session and party) and 15 were filed against the suspects.
