The Eastern Police District (EPD) under the leadership of PCSUPT CHRISTOPHER E TAMBUNGAN congratulates the graduates of MovEd Learning Laboratory, EPD’s “Pulis Bulilit” Project beneficiaries who graduated at around 9:00 AM today, March 19, 2019 at Maybunga Covered Court, Pasig City. EPD cops also distributed gift packs to the 45 beneficiaries of the project.
District Community Affairs and Development Unit (DCADU) and the District Public Information Office personnel led by PCI VIRGILIO O TIMAJO, Officer-In-Charge, DCADU, participated and witnessed the Moving Up Ceremony.
The project has a total of 45 beneficiaries with ages below seven years old from the MovEd Learning Lab. The MovEd School is the pioneer beneficiary of the project “Pulis Bulilit” wherein other schools and orphanages will follow. Different free entertaining and informative activities were and are now being conducted for the kids wherein among the activities are gift-giving; medical and dental check-ups; feeding program; safety lectures; and tours to different historic sites in Metro Manila.
The “EPD Pulis Bulilit: A Child-friendly Police Project” aims to forge partnership, shape and influence perception by conducting child-friendly programs and provide free services to the Day Care Centers, Kindergarten Schools and Orphanages.
Furthermore, the project is a partnership between EPD and the Officers Ladies’ Club. The Officers Ladies’ Club is composed of the wives of Police Officers assigned in EPD.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) among the EPD, Officers Ladies’ Club and MovEd Learning Laboratory was signed during the launching of the project. The MOU contains the different responsibilities of the three parties involved in the project.###RbB
