The San Juan City Police Station personnel led by PSSUPT ARIEL R FULO, Chief of Police, thru the initiative of Station Community Affairs Development Unit (SCADU) in collaboration with Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) and Commission on Election (COMELEC) San Juan initiated the Unity Walk and Peace Covenant Signing for the National and Local Midterm Elections 2019 from 6:00 AM up to 8:00 AM of March 19, 2019.
Special guests such as PCSUPT CHRISTOPHER E TAMBUNGAN, District Director, Eastern Police District; Atty. Angela Kristine Royanduyan, Election Officer, COMELEC San Juan; Ms. Teresita Santiago of PPCRV; Flordelisa D Pereyna, Assistant OIC, Department of Education (DepEd) San Juan; San Juan Elementary and High school Teachers; High School students; Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel; and all aspiring candidates running for different positions in the Local Election of this City were present during the activity.
The program started with the celebration of the Eucharistic Mass at St. John the Baptist Church followed by Unity Walk towards San Juan National High School Covered Court. The highlight of program is the Peace Covenant Signing done by all local electoral candidates, COMELEC and PNP personnel.
The said activity was conducted as part of the advocacy of this Station to keep the National and Local Midterm Elections 2019, safe and fair.
