In lieu of the celebration of Fire Prevention month, Eastern Police District cops face a new challenge on the rise of the numbers of city ordinance violators as reflected for the past 24 hours from March 21-22, 2019.

There were 162, 250 total accosted individuals wherein 57,963 were warned; 104, 261 were fined and 26 persons were formally charged in court.
The numbers impose new challenge to the policemen of Metro-East wherein the EPD Director, PCSUPT CHRISTOPHER E TAMBUNGAN wanted his men to take the challenge and act on it immediately.
Likewise, PCSUPT TAMBUNGAN directed all EPD cops to inform all the community on their respective area of responsibility regarding the ordinances in order to lower the number of violators being arrested.
“I congratulate my men in Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina and San Juan for this accomplishment because it only implies the increased efforts of policemen in EPD in arresting violators of city ordinance in order to achieve a safer place to live, work and do business.” PCSUPT TAMBUNGAN said. ### – ATO
