Force Battalion under the leadership of PLTCOL HERMOGENES D CABE, Acting Force Commander, DMFB successfully launched the DMFB Mobile Library and Feeding Program with Together As One Police Brotherhood Association Inc. (TAOPBAI) to the one hundred fifty (150) children/youth of Brgy. Pineda, Pasig City on July 3, 2019 at 9:00AM as one of the police community relations programs which aim to further bring the police more closer to the people through community based projects with the theme: “ Ang Mobile Aral Tungo sa Karunungan ng Maunlad na Kabataan at Mapayapang Pamayanan”.
The Mobile Library is comprised of sustainable programs and approaches that will foster good relationship to the community, particularly the children. Hence, lectures on Filipino Values such as patriotism and obedience to the law; proper hygiene; ways how to keep away from illegal drugs and how to stop/ avoid bullying are some of the topics being taught.
Launching of DMFB Mobile Library was also in line with the celebration of the 24th Police Community Relations Month. It was graced by the newly installed EPD District Director PBGEN NOLASCO K BATHAN along with Mr. Harold E. Herrera, Regional CRS Manager, SM Supermalls and HON. FRANCISCO D. DE LEON, Brgy. Chairman, Brgy. Pineda, Pasig City.
Constituents of the said brgy. were very cooperative on the said program and positively supported the PNP with its trust and programs for the welfare of the community particularly the children alongside with it’s intensified campaign against criminality and illegal drugs.
PBGEN BATHAN said that by teaching the children and giving them proper knowledge and information that will help them to be responsible in making decision and choices especially from choosing right and wrong as to resist any illegal activities particularly illegal drugs and be a good citizen as well. He also added that parents must be the one who will guide their children with proper understanding and care as they are very vulnerable in many things that can lead them to do unlawful things.
“Serbisyong may Pagkukusa at Malasakit, Yan ang Tatak DMFB”, that’s the official slogan of the District Mobile Force Battalion which main objective is to help those who are in need in a simplest manner without hesitation and with utmost concern that will leave a mark to the people and will surely create a better Police Community Relations. This is also the main goal of EPD District Director to reach and be with the community and work with them to have a safer and orderly EPD Area of Responsibility.
The dedication and strong concern shown by the DMFB personnel to the residents of Brgy. Pineda, Pasig City which gave a positive impact with pride and honor not only to the Eastern Police District but to the Philippine National Police as a whole and as PLTCOL CABE always reiterates to his men the importance of Commitment and Dedication to sworn duties and responsibilities to be an effective and credible Police Officer.
