A former drug surrenderee who came from his hometown in Bacolod reportedly back in drug business in their barangay was arrested by teams of San Juan City Police following a raid inside his house allegedly being used as selling point on Sunday early morning.
In a report submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) Director PBGEN JOHNSON C ALMAZAN by San Juan City Police Chief, PCOL JAIME O SANTOS suspect was identified as Jason Servania y Remegio, alias Ivler, 30; resident of 16 T, Road 5 Brgy. West Crame, San Juan City.
Santos said, teams of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) headed by PCPT EDWIN A MALABANAN and his men conducted the raid after weeks of surveillance who received information about the continuous drug peddling activities of Ivler and allegedly used his house as selling point. Armed with search warrant issued by Executive Judge Danilo Cruz, Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC ) Branch 152 for violation of RA 9162 or the Comprehensive Illegal Drugs Act of 2002, police team swooped down at Ivler’s house at 16T, Road 5, Brgy. West Crame, San Juan City at around 1AM Sunday.
Raiding teams seized one (1) improvised transparent glass pipe, two (2) pieces improvised transparent plastic pipe, twelve (12) sachets of suspected illegal drugs and one (1) piece colored brown coin purse from Ivler. According to Santos, Ivler is a notorious drug pusher in the area who have been involved in illegal activities for so long based on validation of the police.
He is listed in the San Juan City Police Station’s drug watch list. But surrendered under “Oplan Tokhang” on 2016 however failed to continue the community based-drug rehabilitation program “Rehab sa Barangay”, a project of the city government for users and pushers who voluntarily surrendered to authorities.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the San Juan City Police Custodial Facility and faced charges of Violation of Sec 6, 11, and 12 of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Drugs Act 2002.
