The Eastern Police District under the leadership of PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY, District Director through the personnel of District Community Affairs and Development Division headed by PMAJ ERIC C CISTER, Assistant Chief, DCADD conducted Simultaneous Giving of Food Packs dubbed as EPD Barangayanihan to help out the less fortunate families cope with the effects of the current Pandemic.
The activity commenced simultaneously at exactly 9:00 in the morning today dated, April 29, 2021, and it continued its course of operation in observance of COVID 19 minimum standard Health Protocols.
A total of 1,300 food packs and health kits were distributed to sustain its effort to support families, especially the depressed areas greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, the activity made possible through the collaborative efforts of EPD PaMaMariSan, Police Community Affairs and Development Group, and Bless our Cops Ministry on its endeavor to strengthen the “Spirit of Bayanihan” and to encourage other people to lend a hand to other people who are greatly in need this time of Pandemic.
Further, the Barangayanihan was simultaneously conducted in all City Police Police Stations within their area of jurisdiction that underlines its commitment of a continuing Serbisyong Tama; Tapat, may Tapang at MAlasakit para sa mamamayan of Team NCRPO.
