The most glaring features of the Eastern Police District SEAL are the hallmarks of the four cities comprising the whole police district. Marikina City’s prominence in shoe manufacturing made the city to be known as the Shoe Capital of the Philippines. Pasig City, symbolized by the Mermaid is the maiden goddess and stewardess of the rivers and lakes where the city is situated. The City of San Juan is known for its Pinaglabanan Shrine where the battle of the Katipunan took place. On the other hand, the Tiger City of Mandaluyong prides itself of the highly urbanized Ortigas Center and the EDSA Crossing.

The NCRPO acronym stands for the National Capital Region Police Office which has jurisdiction over the five (5) police districts in Metro Manila where Eastern Police District is part of.

The year 1974 refers to the founding year of EPD. The green Laurel leaves symbolize the virtues of honor and dignity that the EPD exemplifies, and the privilege to be a member of a noble organization where excellence is the standard to the call for public service. Lastly, the shield shape of the seal connotes that the men and women of the Eastern Police District are always ready To Serve and Protect the people.
